About The Movie:
Created from film writer/director/producer Crazy Dee’s wildly successful web series entitled THE BLKICE CHRONICLES, “THE SHIFTER” tells the story of Crazy Dee encountering a strange being vesseled in the form of a innocent looking female. Based on a true story, The Shifter keeps you on the edge of your seat, and entertained! It's Halloween Night At Crazy Dee's, and A Pesky Vamp Is Out For Blood! Lavonia Coalbin is not your ordinary customer, stopping into Crazy Dee's on Halloween Eve. She has observed Crazy Dee and his business from a distance, and decides that the day before Halloween would be a great day to spring a surprise on Crazy Dee. But, unannounced to Lavonia, it's going to take longer than she thinks to seduce Crazy Dee. As she returns, on Halloween Night, to continue her advance on Crazy Dee, a cast of characters enter Crazy Dee's who end her plans in many varied ways. A film about faith, and the strength of community vs. a demon. A must watch film written, produced and directed by Crazy Dee. Order The DVD, it makes a great gift!! One of the persons who inspired me is Prince.
The year was 1987, the school year 86-87, when I went from middle school to High School. Prince’s Sign O’ The Times came out. I was always a Prince fan, listening to his music, and aspiring to be a DJ, I definitely mixed his music because his music could pack a dance floor. Although out the early 80’s, Prince was the soundtrack playing over the radio, and over my aunt’s house during Holidays. But, when Prince’s Sign O’ The Times came out, I was amazed at the sound. Whitney Houston passed away today, and she was pronounced dead at 6:55pm. These are some of my thoughts about her untimely passing:
R.I.P. Whitney Houston! You brought us a lovely voice, soothing moments-- captured forever. Now rest, rest-- your journey here is through. http://www.usatoday.com/life/people/obit/story/2012-02-11/whitney-houston/53053070/1?csp=34news
It's much like Michael Jackson, when you look at it, she did everything she came here to do, and it was time to go home! R.I.P. Whitney Houston.
Whitney's last performance-- Jesus Loves Me! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/11/whitney-houston-dead-last-performance-yes-jesus-loves-me_n_1270978.html
Etta James, Don Cornelius and Whitney Houston. It's said, death comes in 3's! We have to get ready, because we never know when our number is pulled.
It's funny-- I notice when people try to make a come back, after a long layoff, it's as if God says Not This Time. It's time for you to come home. Your work is done.
Tribute to Whitney Houston early on Joeski Love, "Better Love than Whitney Houston"! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMaeZ5whLwU
Damn, we're going to lose many people, due to age-- but to lose someone like Whitney Houston so young, only 48! Shocking.
Grand Tribute to Whitney at the Grammys-- Kim Burrell, Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Adams, Gladys Knight, Pattie LaBelle and Pink! That would be a beautiful tribute!
All of her recordings will keep Whitney Houston alive forever. Such a beautiful voice, gone!
Kim Burrell's tribute to Whitney Houston on The BET Honors 2010. I Believe In You And Me! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxYXgRo6gC8
Well-- Whitney knew how to make an entrance, and She knew how to make an exit; on the eve of the biggest event in music. She's already missed!
