The Company That Produces What Entertains You!

My Take

This is a bust of KING TUTANKHAMUN, found in his tomb. (KING TUT; he ruled from 1334 to 1325 B.C.) There is no doubt Tutankhamun was a Black man, but producers, in Hollywood, continue to perpetuate the lie that Egyptians were white, with mini series like TUT.

When I see these programs-- the truth is, no matter how you cut it-- the producers/directors/production companies/studios are about white supremacy. They are about the destruction of Black people, through the use of media, to keep the masses ignorant to Our-story. And, when we're ignorant to the knowledge of Our-story-- it is easy to act ill, and kill.

'They' not only distort Egyptian history, but the Moors' history, African history, Spanish and Italian history, etc., that is all Black. Black people were the first to teach civil teachings to those who lived like savages.

But, as long as people don't speak up-- Hollywood will continue to produce lies like TUT. Black men and Black women, and our children will continue to be subjects, used as target practice, for cops, and we will continue to destroy each other with violence.

So-- Stand up, Speak out, and continue to produce films and music about the reality of Our-story, because-- if we don't-- we know white supremacist won't! In the end, at the end-- each one of us will be able to say-- "We Did Our Part!"

Proverbs 13:24 New International Version (NIV) - Whoever spares the rod hates their children, but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them.

Have you seen the Subaru commercial where the boys wash the car inside and out? The commercial shows a father who understands the mistake his 2 boys made, while they tried to do something good. In reality the scene would have gone much different. If it were really a father, I believe the two boys would have been whipped to reprimand them, to let them know, in the most brutal of ways, not to do it again. The reaction, of the father, on the commercial is a response of a middle-class white father not a black father; but if times have changed, then the change is truly for the better—but too often a brutal reminder is given, to a young black boy, more than a compassionate yet stern talking to.

The question is why? Why do some African-American parents deal in a style of reprimand that is more liken to a master/slave relationship than a father/mother/child relationship? My parents used to say— "I whip you know, so no one will whip you later." In many ways getting whipped was the technique parents used to prepare their child for an uncertain world where an African-American life was worth less than a penny. But....

Today, is the whipping still necessary—more than a stern talking to? Or is whipping something that is an archaic practice that only builds resentment, in the long run, and fear instead of love in the short?

I believe, in this time—in this new era, with an African-American President— compassion, kindheartedness, if you will, is the way to go—much like the scenario in the Subaru commercial. Be careful to discipline a child, but be careful how you discipline.

Crazy Dee has written a new role for an actress to portray in THE BLKICE CHRONICLES: SITUAITONS DVD. More information below:

New posting for Actress to play in THE BLKICE CHRONICLES: SITUATIONS DVD

Character and Description: Fredericka Osborn (African-American, Latina or Mixed) (Nudity Required) Age 25 to 35. Stands between 5’2” to 5’11”. She is a want to be actress who connected with Crazy Dee. She likes to dress in long flowing sundresses and sandals. When it gets chilly, she adds a spring or summer sweater. She loves to wear her hair in an up doo, and she wears sunglasses to cover her red eyes from intoxication/evidence of drug use. Fredericka is an addict who doesn’t want to lose herself in her drug use, so she tries to set boundaries for herself. Things she will do, and things she will not do. She is emaciated, but tries to keep herself together the best she can. She is deathly afraid of falling into doing porno, and won’t consider roles that entail nudity—as she believes movies with nudity are one step away from pornography.

Clevelanders Extras For Hollywood

Crazy Dee's Take On It!: Clevelanders Extras For Hollywood

Films are coming to Cleveland, and it is about time! But is it really that great for Cleveland? With The Cleveland Film Commission established in the city, films are coming to the area. There are a few down sides to the outside companies coming to bolster the hopes of actors in the City Of Cleveland. Most of the jobs are extra work! That's right, as of this article there has been no opportunity for actors, from Cleveland, to win a major role in the films shooting here. When the director, writers and crew sit down in Cleveland, they have all of the principal actors cast. What are left are roles for extras. If you call being an extra having a role, then I guess this is progress in the ever developing role in film Cleveland plays. What is most disheartening concerning, The Cleveland Film Commission's push to have Hollywood come to Cleveland, is there is no focus on working to provide funding to established filmmakers in the city. The actors are distracted from test reading for films based in Cleveland, where they will be cast in lead roles, like THE BLKICE CHRONICLES. Crazy Dee says, "Once the films started coming to Cleveland, actors would blow me off to be extras" Crazy Dee, who is a filmmaker from Cleveland who writes, producers, directs, edits and authors DVDs for his series, laments, "How could they put me on the back burner just to be an extra, and only see the back of their heads, running in a film, if that?" I believe The Cleveland Film Commission is doing the best that it can to open up Cleveland to the film industry, but the focus should be on acquiring funding for films created in Cleveland by Clevelanders.

A Person Who Inspired Me

One of the persons who inspired me is Prince.

The year was 1987, the school year 86-87, when I went from middle school to High School. Prince’s Sign O’ The Times came out. I was always a Prince fan, listening to his music, and aspiring to be a DJ, I definitely mixed his music because his music could pack a dance floor. Although out the early 80’s, Prince was the soundtrack playing over the radio, and over my aunt’s house during Holidays. But, when Prince’s Sign O’ The Times came out, I was amazed at the sound. The music was current, fresh, ..... Read More - Click Here

Whitney Houston passed away today, and she was pronounced dead at 6:55pm. These are some of my thoughts about her untimely passing:

R.I.P. Whitney Houston! You brought us a lovely voice, soothing moments-- captured forever. Now rest, rest-- your journey here is through. http://www.usatoday.com/life/people/obit/story/2012-02-11/whitney-houston/53053070/1?csp=34news

It's much like Michael Jackson, when you look at it, she did everything she came here to do, and it was time to go home! R.I.P. Whitney Houston.

Whitney's last performance-- Jesus Loves Me! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/11/whitney-houston-dead-last-performance-yes-jesus-loves-me_n_1270978.html

Etta James, Don Cornelius and Whitney Houston. It's said, death comes in 3's! We have to get ready, because we never know when our number is pulled.

It's funny-- I notice when people try to make a come back, after a long layoff, it's as if God says Not This Time. It's time for you to come home. Your work is done.

Tribute to Whitney Houston early on Joeski Love, "Better Love than Whitney Houston"! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMaeZ5whLwU

Damn, we're going to lose many people, due to age-- but to lose someone like Whitney Houston so young, only 48! Shocking.

Grand Tribute to Whitney at the Grammys-- Kim Burrell, Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Adams, Gladys Knight, Pattie LaBelle and Pink! That would be a beautiful tribute!

All of her recordings will keep Whitney Houston alive forever. Such a beautiful voice, gone!

Well-- Whitney knew how to make an entrance, and She knew how to make an exit; on the eve of the biggest event in music. She's already missed!
