Originally titled BLKICE 2: THE BLOCK, due to the nickname given to the strip mall Crazy Dee’s Muzic Palace was located in, and later re-titled THE BLKICE CHRONICLES, the web serious spends off successful DVDs. Created from film writer/director/producer Crazy Dee’s wildly successful web series entitled THE BLKICE CHRONICLES, “FEMALES” tells the story of Crazy Dee, his CD Shop and the various cast of females who have patronized his shop over 15 years. It’s a world which many never see, the world of urban retail. Crayzon Deeyon (Crazy Dee) takes you into this world with the film “FEMALES”. Crazy Dee opens his CD Shop for business, and never really knows what the day will bring, especially with the blocks resident Susie The Crackhead (Shalira Taylor) prowling around the grounds as she spots Conwell Jacobs (Anthony Conway) entering Crazy Dee’s CD Shop. As the only photographer, filmmaker on the block, Crazy Dee is approached by many females to model, or act—and this is how he meets Courtney Douglass (Priscilla Moorer), a pushy young lady who doesn’t take no for an answer, and Constance Phillips (K. Starr) who will do anything to model for Crazy Dee. There is no point she won’t go to model the way she wants to model. Both keep the high jinks going. Crazy Dee finds himself cornered, in one of the strangers predicaments, when he is invited over to Val Champaign’s (Ikeya Wood) house to photograph her for a CD cover, meeting her mother Vernice (Crystal), and their family friend Prodigy T (Tonya Congress). Based on true happenings, FEMALES is a hilarious film. Think “Barbershop Meets Crazy Dee’s CD Shop”. FEMALES is laced with a banging score which complements every scene. You will enjoy FEMALES!
