Sasheer Zamata is the exact example of a great Black comedienne is. She is Black Beauty. She's strong, she's intelligent, in her delivery, using comedy to express angst without beating the audience over the head. She discusses race, Black women's issues, men, and societal situations with smart satire, and clear, well thought out comedic bits. As a Black woman, she embodies the beauty which Black women possess-- her natural hair, her lovely face, her great figure, she's slim, yet thick in dresses, and most importantly-- it's her mind, her mind which drives 'through-line' through her brand of comedy. This is why she's the first feature, on GREAT COMEDY SITUATIONS, because she executes a New Brand of Conscious Comedy.
